 The MOLLYCenter
for Children
The MOLLY Center for Children with Diabetes and Endocrine Disorders
is an integral part of a specialized pediatric multidisciplinary
team within The Joseph Sanzari Children¹s Hospital at
Hackensack University Medical Center.
The MOLLY Center for Children with Diabetes and Endocrine Disorders provides
patients and families with the most up-to-date treatment options and the best
methods of diabetes management for children.
Services include nutritional counseling, diabetes education for individuals and
groups, psychosocial assessments, community outreach programs, individual and
family counseling aimed at enhancing, coping and adaptation, creative arts support
groups for children, and parent support groups.
The MOLLYCenter for
Adults
The MOLLY Center for Adults with Diabetes delivers comprehensive diabetes education
and, if necessary, management, providing individuals of all ages with a lifetime
of support. Programs and services offered by the Diabetes Center adhere
to the American Diabetes Association Standards of Care guidelines. Individual
and group programs include individualized diabetes counseling, nutritional counseling,
blood glucose self-monitoring, ambulatory insulin, juvenile diabetes, gestational
diabetes, and psychosocial support. |
